SocialDock vs Buffer

A Buffer alternative without the per-channel math

Buffer bills per connected channel — $5–10/month, per channel, on top of its plan price. SocialDock is one flat price per workspace, whether you connect 3 accounts or 50, plus a full API and an MCP server for AI agents.

Where Buffer still has an edge

Both platforms cover 11 networks, just not the same 11 — Buffer has Mastodon and Google Business Profile, which SocialDock doesn't support yet. Buffer is also a longer-established product with a deeper analytics suite. If either of those matters more to you than flat pricing and API/MCP access, Buffer may be the better fit today.
